EXTERNAL CRISIS COMMUNICATION
Consistent, traceable and sovereign
During safety incidents, the most reliable information is found in the field at the Incident Command Post (CoPI), supplemented by spokespersons and the HTOC. Publishing this information is often done manually and in different ways across the safety regions.
The CCAPP for iOS and Android turns the CoPI, spokespersons and HTOC into a direct source. Text, images and location are sent securely to an alerts database that feeds your own website or live blog and then publishes to multiple channels, without duplicate effort.
Bronscode delivers the CCAPP and alerts database as a managed SaaS solution. Existing channels connect plug-and-play: first your own site, then X and partner channels where needed.
Unambiguous messages
Templates link incident types to courses of action, locations and information links.
Case study: VGGM
Following a test during the Multidisciplinary Realistic Exercises in October 2025, it was decided to use the solution as a replacement for X.com.
Implementation partner: Nexagon
We work with Nexagon, our Drupal and WordPress implementation partner, to connect CCAPP to the website and live blog of Veiligheids- en Gezondheidsregio Gelderland-Midden (VGGM).
Bronscode provides the app and alerts database; Nexagon handles the implementation on the website and live blog. Together, we connect updates from the field to the safety region's own publishing channels. Our collaboration supported the October 2025 exercises and the transition to a production application.
Read Nexagon's case study about our collaboration at VGGM (in Dutch).
